Ahww... I'm trying to imagine a nice world for my character, Aquila... it is set in a fantasy medieval realm, where many anthropomorphic races share their existences...

So I just came up drawing two characters of mine that I have never presented you, they would be like legends in the story of the world I'm setting up... I will spoil you a little, one of the two was a pure human and the other was a bird... but through love they became the same

The male was called Allerion, meaning "the noble eagle", and the female is Ankaa (brightest star of phoenix constellation)... they are ancestors of Aquila and of all bird people.

Allerion's design is supposed to resemble a harpy eagle, and Ankaa a golden eagle.

Some info on the Avian race:

"The mysterious bird people, said to be born from the wind itself .... birds trapped in human bodies... product of ancient forbidden magic, or direct descendant of the kings of heaven, the eagles? Nobody can say for sure... the truth is lost in time.

This reclusive people value their ability to fly, wisdom and hunting skills more than anything, so they are a nation that prides itself on its magnificent wings... Avians often live isolated in the highest peaks, considering themselves superior to the others beings crawling on the earth... the Avian observes the world around him as a cunning predator... "

lol... hope you like it.. if the story is cheesy, at least the art is quite nice, I think :rofl:

The background story is very good. Nice to have one to this picture.
That makes it even more interessting and beautiful.
