Highest rank of Avian soldiers... Those chosen to protect the sacred places wear golden masks symbolizing birds of prey, it is considered a place of honor and servitude to be near the gods. 

As you can see the whole culture of Avians is heavily inspired by Egyptian style

Left: Golden warrior uniform (they can use any style of weapon including bows)

Right: Golden mage uniform (for those versed in magical arts)
